BUPA Fund

BUPA is now a fund for Medicare verification/billing purposes. Please refer to our guide here for adding 'BUP' as a fund in to Medilink.

2011 FEES

The 2011 fees have been released, although we are still waiting on some of the funds to release their fees. VIPS members can log in on the left for the links and an instructional video, (you can find your login information in Medilink under 'Help'->'About').

WESTFUND CODE

Westfund have changed their Medicare recognised code from WDH to WFD. Please update your 'Get Participating Funds' list, your fund codes list, and remember to change the three letter code for Westfund patients before verifying/billing.

TELEHEALTH

5th July 2011 - Bob Marsh, Managing Director of Advanced Professional Systems Pty Ltd owner of Medilink software today stated that we, Medilink, have no relationship or association with Medilink Australia Pty Ltd or ConsultDirect Pty Ltd or their TeleHealth product.

HCF/MUI MERGER

HCF and Manchester Unity are undergoing the final stages of their merger. ECLIPSE IMC users please be aware that MUI claims must be in by June 30th 2011. If not you must submit MUI claims under HCF from July 11th 2011, (you will not be able to submit MUI claims for the 10 day interim).

MCOL 3009/9204 ERRORS

As of April 23rd 2011, Medicare's CEO certificates have expired. Step 1 of the automated system in place to deal with this has a link to a Medicare PKI Certificate manager; unfortunately this link location is no longer active. Please log in using your VIPS number and key and click on 'Medilink Item Fees' to view our instructional video and download and install the November 2010 MBS and DVA fees, (fund fees TBA).

Medilink DIRECT SUPPORT

As of July 1st 2010 we have introduced Medilink Direct Support, (MDS), as an optional extra. You must be a member of MDS to continue to receive the level of support, including remote support, that we have been providing free for VIPS members. VIPS members who elect not to take up MDS will still receive their update and basic support on the installation of the update. For more information - Click here.

Medilink LETTERS

Due to a December 09 Microsoft Update, Medilink Letters users may be experiencing the following error: "Word cannot start the converter mswrd632.wpc.". Click here for instructions on how to fix this.
